I’ve had my XX for about six weeks now, and I’ll post some extensive driving impressions in the next few days. I have yet to take it to the track, so my opinion thus far is confined to its street use. In short, I love the car. Period. It’s the best car I’ve ever owned. Highlights of the car thus far: 1. Best weight racing seats are outstanding. Such a huge upgrade in comfort over the previous carbon race seat. 2. The car feels appreciably faster than my SF90AF. Whether that’s a function of gearing or simply a greater sensation of speed due to decreased noise deadening materials and such, I’m unsure. But there’s no doubt it feels faster. 3. The new transmission logic is a big step forward. I’d place it similar to the 488-488 Pista upgrade. I love the more aggressive shifts. 4. The looks are simply show stopping. 5. I’m glad I got the lift and magnaride. I know I’ll get flamed for the non-hardcore suspension choice, but I drive this car regularly and I wanted maximum usability. Plus, on rough roads, this car feels more planted than the Multimatic suspension on my Assetto Fiorano car.
Fantastic! Thank you for the impressions and beautiful pics! Congratulations! PS I dont think the lifter suspension is not hard core because they said they firmed it up.
Another XX delivery wears Alluminio Opaco paint this time. The Rosso Ferrari dominates the interior with the new seat design. For those glossy wheels Rosso Corsa dreamlines and this same color is matched on the brake calipers to. totally agree with all these points. the car is a little bit longer and even though i have the lift i am still noticing the front tends to scrape even on aggressive speed bumps. the "ev only" acceleration feels faster than the base also. i also noticed that on *upshifts* with moderate throttle you get some really cool popping sounds that the base didnt do.
No that is a Switzerland Niki Hasler delivery as credited. But thanks for the thought! The prior reference to tailor made special colors reminded me of this one called Bianco Tartan. A triple layer paint color > Image Unavailable, Please Login
Love the blue carbon - spec'd on XX. Anyone know how long after factory accept order - to delivery. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
really like the sf90xx now, I can't think of another ferrari where the purchsers have put as much effort into making each one look unique and fun!
Just saw my XX in testing stage, posted by @derek.photography https://www.instagram.com/derek.photography/# Came out better then expected Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
In the last pic it looks to have protective blue film on it just like the side skirts (edit: and door handle), but a lot less air/bubbles under it mainly on the side/edge of the roof compared to the side skirt that isn't that flat. Must be cool to see your car spotted online like this! Congrats!
In his IG story, saw just the front end of the XX with my # and messaged him thinking it was my car. He confirmed it was US version with mandarin seats and nice enough to send me the pics I posted. Very cool to run across it on line!
The best there is - Derek you should sell a press factory photo kit to owners. I will be your first customer. Congrats, great spec!
The SF90 XX is a completely different car compared to the standard SF90 significantly more agile, aggressive, and emotionally engaging. Its road presence is unmatched, even a Lamborghini Avendator SVJ struggles to keep up. Respect to Ferrari for a car like the SF90 XX.
Few days ago I’ve had a quick factory tour after my TM appointment, I have seen a number of SF90XX on the production line, every single spec was very unique, it was so good to see so many different colors and options, most will look very unique in their own way.
