    Christian, I cannot repeat in the two threads, if somebody is interested to know the progress of the 0117S restoration,they can go on this vintage thread : So.Ca 0117S a barn find by M.MASSINI 2006

    What I can say, a 195 engine 083S ( year 1951 ) was bought to put into 0117S.
    In few day , I 'll post somes pics of the very nice all alloy cover passenger who is finish.
    The exhaust pipes are also rectified
    The car is really superb and I love it.

    Good luck with the gearbox search :). I know a 166 one was advertised recently ... don't know if that is the correct type?, and also there was some discussion about that gearbox coming from a stolen car :( ...

    Yes there is a hard work made on this car, to exterior who is obvious but also under the car who is less visible ; like you know I try to work in the period "spirit" and without speed.
