Yep, feel the same way. Oscar is cool asf.

Maybe Max can get back into the mix, otherwise it's game over.

Let's hope so, otherwise LH will poison the team.

The Italian media is going to have a field day climbing into Hamilton tomorrow.

He should have known well before coming to Ferrari that their strategy team is dysfunctional, but for him to publicly be vocal about that for the whole world to hear, he’s basically asking to be hounded.

SF knew a DAY AHEAD that each driver would start on different compounds. After Pitstop, Sir is expected to be AND WAS FASTER than Chuck. At this moment of the race, it is the Tires. Let Sir missile get by Chuck once he got into his DRS, quickly. None of this "We'll get back to you..." shpaggethiii junk. Finally after an Espresso break, Over heating Mediums and a swap, Sir is given the position with 5.6 sec deficit to ANT. Sir reduced it to a 2.3 sec deficit to ANT before the reverse swap with no DRS assistance. Chuck brought it down 1.5 - 1.7 near the line, but, Sir did all the work. Also, Davis said that Team told Chuck the reverse swap would happen before asking Sir. Not cool. Sir was faster, earned the place, pulled Chuck away from Sainz, no reverse swap needed. No strategy, bad strategy, lack of strategy. Forget Adrian, we need Hannah. Capisci?

CL would have passed Antonelli if they hadn't swapped at all, or if they reversed earlier.

    Sky always favors LH.

I'm referring to the whinging totality of his entire season, not just today. In any business environment, bad behaviour is only accepted [overlooked] from outstanding performers.

LH did not overtake Leclerc (in spite of having DRs), he was given the position. So the reverse swap when he wasn't able to catch Antonelli was logical.
On the other hand, the first swap should have been done immediately to maximise his chances of catching Antonelli (it's difficult to tell whether it would have changed the final result, but it was the obvious decision to be made).

Lewey was not faster than Charles and that’s why they swapped them back, to right their wrong decision. Lewey was on the medium tire which has more grip than the Hard that Charles was on. Lewey is at Ferrari as a number two driver and a fashion salesman.

This was & is a lose-lose for Ferrari. If LuLu wins a championship (or gets really close) he will say “Look Ferrari was nowhere for years until I came along.” If they are upper midfield or worse he will say
“ It’s not my fault, the car just isn’t good enough.” Either way, Ferrari will get all of the blame and none of the credit. Lulu will get paid regardless and smells like a rose either way.

Ferrari threw away a perfectly good car and driver for this hot mess. Did they hire all new people to work on the team this year? Team orders when in 7 and 8th. What drugs are these people on?

CL started 8th and 26 laps later was still 8th before Pits became active. ANT came to him, he could not close the gap.

Yes, first swap was strategy error by Team. LH had better compound results and caught CL. As Brundle said, neither Ferrari could pass the other inside of DRS. Team had to orchestrate at the right time and did not. Each driver complained of overheating in the DRS draft.

Incorrect. LH reduced gap to ANT significantly as the time intervals I quote proves. CL could not do the same at that time on a different compound. Team needed to step in earlier with many known variables(compounds). There are plenty of times to 'let them race', this was not one of them.

despite all the drama one positive thing i can say is that at least after the pit stop ferrari is quicker than one merc that have qualified 3rd and have a sniffing chance at the end lol

but the car is just bad, apart from mclaren everyone struggle with the tires just reds is worst

onwards to next weekend wec spa and f1 another weekend

No mention of how Hamilton benefitted from pitting under virtual safety car for a 10 second advantage on his teammate and still finished several seconds behind him after being given the go ahead?

    Meaningless in this context.

    = plea to swap positions.

Lh reduced the gap less than CL did. And almost got passed by Sainz.

a)Meanngful. CL started 8th, near half way point still 8th. LH started 12th came to 10th during same period. The team goal was (supposed to be) racing for POSITION on ANT. LH was climbing positions, CL was static.
    b) No, this just means that Chuck is as whiney as LH. The engineers know this. neither driver should have to plead, though this situation is not exclusive to SF.
    c) SIR reduced the gap to ANT by 4x MORE than Chuck. SIR clearly faster. Elsewhere, Sainz divebombed LH's sidepod on the last turn. LH asked the team "Should I let Sainz thru?". Team had not "gotten back to him yet". I suspect SF told Sainz about the swap and --just like with Chuck-- forget to tell LH.

Instead of taking things literally you should concentrate on what they mean.

LH is a whining, gaslighting poser. The comment about Sainz shows how petty and poisonous he is.

He didn't gain on KA more than CL per lap. F should have reversed the swap at least 3 laps before.

Ferrari should call it and move on. Can any update save this tractor? IT amazes me how it can go so wrong with all the cash and resources. Its almost like they want to fail.

The Hamilton dogmatism in this thread is almost as hilarious as how so many here predicted exactly how this would all play out.

Max was too boring to be the main topic here, I was hoping a different winner could gain interest. Still 90% of the topic is about Sir Lewis Hamilton. Seems like Sir Lewis Hamilton will always be the main interest here. Liberty may file for bankruptcy when he retires.
