    Saturday while prepping the car for a Cars & Coffee drive, I managed to somehow knock off my headlight knob from the steering column. When it happened, I swear I heard something hit the floor.

    I've searched and searched and can find nothing. Was I hearing things?

    For those in the know, can you tell me if there is anything more to this assembly than the knob (pictured below) and the locking piece on the shaft itself?

    I reassembled everything and it functions fine. It's just driving me insane that I thought I heard something.

    Appreciate your help.

    Is that little ball the same size for both 308 and 328 or are they different?
