    After having owned a 430, 458, 488, F8 and currently owning a 296 I'm thinking of getting another 458.

    Crazy or good idea?

For me, it's not old enough to justify going for an outdated car. But that's a very subjective point of view.

Depends why you want it. If you want the engagement of a manual, 430 is it. If you want the sound of a NA V8, I love the 458. Looks are totally subjective so I can't help you there, but all other things being equal to you, the newest is always the fastest and has the most gadgets. If that still doesn't help, then you have to consider the color choices and options available in each and what you can actually find in the condition you want. Do you want minimum mileage, pristine condition, maybe a limited edition? Open top? Or do you want something maybe a bit less perfect that you want to flog around the track, add mods, and tinker with?

Thanks for your feedback, I meant adding a 458 next to the 296.

N/A is the big plus but I'm just wondering if it won't feel too old.
