    Hello, 275 GTB engine spotters!

At some point between March and April 2009, the Ferrari 275 GTB motor with engine number 07587 was stolen from a locked storage facility in an underground car park in Düsseldorf/Germany.

The 1965 V12 engine is complete, ready to use and had recently been overhauled. It is possible that the engine will be offered for purchase to private collectors, workshops or restoration facilities. The actual car with chassis number 07587 was parted out in the 1970s and is no longer in existence. The engine had been used as a spare engine in various classic Ferraris owned by a noted German collector.

Information regarding this engine’s whereabouts should be kindly directed to:

    Belgium is not involved.
And the car does not exist anymore, completely parted out more than 50 years ago.
    Pix on file.

Thank you . My question come because I had a talk with a former Belgian owner who had several Ferrari's ,also 275 GTB's .One of them was bought from Ricahrd Meritt . The car was repaired in the UK at a Ferrari shop after a trip with Jacques Swaters and was sold to a German who had a 250 GTO so tough about Hartmut Ibing . Why my question about 07587
