    I’m a first time Ferrari customer. I’ve ordered a 296 GTS. My dealership informed me that they got a build/allocation slot for ‘Sep/Oct 2025’ for delivery by Jan 2026. They claim this is the 2026 296 GTS, since I’ve been specific that I’d like the 2026 model year if I’m waiting until end of the year/Jan 2026…from your experiences buying 296 series, do you know if this model year for 296 has historically changed from September build? Or later/earlier?…thanks.

    Welcome: quite often it is changed before the summer break so June 25 can be MY 26

    My Roma Spider was issued a (2025) VIN in April 2024 and was a model year 2025 when delivered (Jan 2025).

    That's great news, because I'm waiting on my build allocation and am told it's coming in June / July. I want a 2026 car, not a 2025 delivered in December.

    you should be fine. i got a 23 lambo in december 22.
