01712, sold by Crepaldi Ferrari, Milan. Production Mar-1971. No footwell light.
That light was in my Aston Martin DB4 glovebox and trunk. I had to replace one because the glass lens was cracked.
And a friend identified this as a Lancia Fulvia Coupe Zagato Courtesy light. Definitely period correct but surely not normal for a Dino. https://www.ebay.com/itm/267160055353
Matthias thank you very much. The poor man is dying, I can’t tell him that it did not. No Tony, you’re not missing anything, is information up from the heavens that we ignore. Is just this dire situation that I got involved with, and you just can’t kick a man who’s down. It is a dreadful situation that revolves all around the wrong glove box light. What can I do? Best, Alberto
Thats the mark of a true friend....to help where he can. All credit to you. But i dont see any pictures of his car that MB says has the wrong front clip! I was saying that with tongue in cheek and wry British humour!!
Thank you Tony! Ahhh , tongue in cheek and wry British humour!! My favourites. Monty Python, and laughing at yourself I guess Matthias has seen an updated nose job, on the car, as my friend went on his honeymoon in it, 1st owner. Cannot possibly face him with that titbit of info at this stage. All he wants, is finish the car and sell it. I'll ask him what his plans are. He cannot even sit in the passenger seat and go for a ride... Regards, Alberto
