Thanks for your opinion. I totally agree with you about 765LT especially for the money and value of the car. Also, exterior styling is way better. BTW I'm more like Ferrari guy and always wanted newest technology. I'm sure the SF90 replacement will be much better car but I can enjoy the current model at the moment.
However, I will only do if the dealer presented attractive offer. I'm just curious.

You might want to get multiple quotes. Many dealers will give you an offer sight unseen, I have sold several Ferrari and Lambos this way with dealers I have dealt with prior. I even sold an Aventador SV back to same dealer who sold it to me originally at higher price than I originally paid, sight unseen and they sent transport to pick up.

Dealer like cars that moves fast, cars they know with confidences that is nearly liquid and able to sell within a week. Geographically in some markets they also moves quite fast.

Life is way too short not to try new things. After losing a few friends and family members past few years without warning, one could go to sleep and not wake up next day. How many more useful years do we have at this stage of life? I have gone through crazy ton of cars outside of hyper cars, other than 2 NA1/NA2 NSX, there is never another car I wish had kept and that was due to nostalgia + manual transmission not because car is that great.

I crossed shopped 765LT and SF90 this year, went with SF90 due to instant torque. I could had modded 992 Turbo S and make it way faster than SF90. But even 1500hp 992 Turbo S or 2k to 3K HP turbo Huracan will not be responsive off the line without using launch control. Simply can not have instant responds without hybrid. 765LT while a rocket, just floor it and it sadly too have a bit of pause. 765LT is not something you will ever feel like need more rolling speed, but you will crave that instant responds.

If 675LT is good indicator, there will be better version of 765LT down the road 975LT etc, 765LT does have potential to be last of its kind. Artura is another example, it is dramatically better than 570S. Also a slim risk of SF90 replacement of being V6 like F80, that would trigger an insane frenzy. Speed is easy, instant responds is freaking hard. When I had F8, I thought that is max rolling accleration I will ever need, didn't even bother ecu tune it, I was only craving more instant responds and grip.

  4. I agree with everyone that in many ways the 765LT is probably a better car in a purist, old-school analog (if you can call anything Mclaren makes "analog") fashion.

But objectively, I think the SF90 is a "better" car overall.

Yes, the 765LT will probably hold value better long term (and I mean l-o-n-g term), but if you buy either of these cars to drive (i.e. put miles on them) neither will really hold value better than the other in any significantly different way.

Agreed. Outside of some Hypercars, there are only two other cars I’d seriously consider replacing my SF90 with. A 765 or a 296 Speciale. While I think the 765 is the more exciting car to drive, overall I think the SF90 checks more boxes.

Value aside, the driving experience is superior in a 765. The SF90 is a lot of car for current money but it's not that exciting to me. I do like them and would consider but I wouldn't replace my 765lt.

No one is going to give you what you want. You will have to list it on consignment, sell it and then do your search. Much better position to be in. Only caveat is if the dealer is really trying to move a certain unit and over allows on your trade.

Makes sense, listings are quickly trending down to mid $500's.

It's been listed for about 45 days and already had 3 price decreases, last one being on the 22nd.

I would guess it gets reduced again by $10k-20k around mid month.

That being said,if you are looking specifically for that exterior color, there are not many out there.

I like white, yellow or grey for the SF90. No other colors especially red.:D
