    Hi All,

I'm really over how trashed my door speakers are. Is there a true plug and play option I can order to replace these? I've heard a lot of options are too deep so I'm really looking for something OEM or OEM like.

    Thanks,

Thanks, what size do I need to buy? Will those just bolt right in as a replacement?

Might want to upgrade the wiring - the factory 18 (or possibly 20) ga is a bit limited in capacity for any power.

Focal is another popular replacement, but I can't recall which model fits the shallow depth.

If the 355 factory door woofers are same as what the 348 has, you can use the shown Helix P62C (6.5 in.)

Looks like the part number is the same for 348 and 355. Will that Helix be plug and play or will I need to change the connectors?

Lots of these nice high end speakers will not sound very good unless you increase the power output. I wouldnt waste a lot of money on a top of the line speaker setup unless you can take advantage of them. Im sure thats common knowledge tho.

My husband just put Kicker DSC650 6.5-inch door speakers in one of my F355s. He removed the mating plugs from the factory speakers and wired them to the new speakers so the car wiring was not modified.

He also noted that Ferrari did not bother to seal the front of the speaker completely from the back of the speaker, so if you do that while you're in there, you should get better sound.

What are the lightest and decent speakers we can install is what I’m wondering.

I think the only plug and play would be the OE/OEM speakers from Ferrari (if still available). Everything else is "change the plug and play".

So far OEM speakers just don't exist any longer.
