Meh, it was fine. Cloudy on and off (you know weather here) and dried it with my leaf blower after rinsing. Good to go.

It’s just a shorter nozzle to replace the long one that typically comes on leaf blowers. Makes it more wieldy around a car and has a rubber lip in case you bump it against the paint. Obsessed Garage has them but you can also get them off Amazon or Etsy.
Ironic you posted this as I got caught in some rain two weekends ago and had to do the same thing last Saturday! I was super nervous to scratch my paint as it's in extremely good condition. Luckily Adam's Polishes is a 15 minute drive from my house. So some mega foam shampoo, a couple buckets, a foam gun, and a drying towel later and still not a single scratch. I have a leaf blower, but my air compressor was perfect for getting water out of body lines or collecting areas. The drive immediately following a wash..... she just drives different!
This is exactly why I barely wash my car. LOL. I’m always worried about scratching the paint, and the paint on this car is perfect. I love the way this car washes with the Ceramic Coat on it though. I just suds it up really good, power wash it off, suds it up really good again, then lightly go over it with my car wash kit with two buckets, then rinse, then leaf blower dry it all off. Super fast and comes out perfect!
If you did a proper ceramic coating on it and/or if you have PPF film, you won't scratch it.... just don't insist too much with the brush/mits/whatever you use. I prefer a boar hair brush, its super soft when soaked a bit, never scratches anything. The brush moves away the particles, rolling them in soap. The sponges tend to drag them over the surface, hence can create scratch/hair lines.
I have full ppf front and undersides, and rear bumper... The only place I need to be careful is doors , rear upper shoulders and top. But then I have 3 layers of ceramic coating, so.... no problemo.
