The length of time mine has been at port is ridiculous….

Mine too! Got there March 28. Dealer says it will be loaded on a truck Monday. Much of this delay has been due to the tariff issue. Something about having to redo window stickers and some confusion about how to reflect the fee for cars that entered the port after the tariff start date,. Doesn't explain why cars that got there before were not released. Hopefully they have straightened it out. My dealer is waiting for 16 cars that are at the port.

That's interesting Bill, mine got to the port about 4 days before yours and as of yesterday my Dealer indicated there was no update on when it would be on a truck. I'm not sure who's actually responsible for the ridiculous wait times, I'm thinking it's FNA, but don't know. Regardless, I hope the info you received is accurate regarding your car, just nice to see people getting what they ordered, regardless of my wait time.

(BTW, if you don't mind sending me a PM, I'm curious what Dealership you used for the purchase.)

I see, that makes sense. but 296 I thought no changes to the prices with tariffs? Maybe its just an overall backlog

My understanding is they were waiting to see what the tariff situation was going to do with regard to how much they would owe and how to reflect that on window stickers and invoices. My dealer (Scottsdale Ferrari) got a note from Ferrari NA that listed the cars they had at the port and talked about the window sticker issue. Whether to show the tariff on the top line or as part of the options list. Since some cars were there before the tariff was imposed, they seem to be willing to release those cars. Since the Roma, 296 and SF90 were not going to be affected by the tariff, it is unclear why they were not released sooner other than the fact Ferrari would have to pay the tariff either way. Perhaps it related to the window sticker and invoice issue, but I'm still not sure why they were held if they came in before the tariff was enacted. This also relates to clearing customs since that's where the tariffs are collected. Perhaps Ferrari was waiting to see how big a check they needed to cut. Either way, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that their comment about shipping my car Monday is correct. More after Monday!

Sorry if this is been answered but I noticed on the app my GTS now has a VIN. Does that signify anything? Meaning, does that mean the car has started production or completed production?

It gets a VIN when it gets a production slot - typically meaning it will soon go into production. No more changes can be made and the status is typically 10R. Check with your dealer to see the actual status - the app is useless for that - it just says waiting list the whole time.

The Pics are very inconsistent , I got my last pic two weeks after the car ( it was 12 weeks being shipped) and I got my model some 8 weeks after the car !

Just got notified my GTS is finally on a truck, expected here by next Monday/Tuesday, maybe sooner!
For those interested, I did confirm my car first reported being at the port (NJ) on March 25, other dates were incorrect, so it's taking about 7 weeks to get on a truck.

Yes, it's somewhat riduclous that it came across the ocean in less time than it took to get it out of the port and on to a truck to deliver to the Dealer. I likely still have a few more days before it gets to the Dealer.

That's a little longer that I, and others, have experienced. Mine was at the port for about 7 weeks, it's currently on a truck heading to the Dealer and expected early next week. I do know one person that indicated his was in port for 2 months, havem't heard of anyone mentioning 3 months.

It seems the average is currently 7 to 9 weeks in the NJ port. The waiting is always a pain, but once it's delivered all the frustration vanishes based on my prior purchases. This last week delay also gives my wife time to get her crap out of my garage bay (just kidding cutie, take your time, I know those things are important to you, I love you.....but keep in mind YOU'RE DOWN to 3 DAYS!!!)
