Actually I am in va beach so it will spend sometime in va beach and sometime in the palm beach area of florida…and I may even spend a couple of months in the Charleston area…
I really like the Fly Bridge head. That was a great idea. Hard to pee off the flybridge when the boat is underway...... I have seen my share of boats on plane just off the Florida coast where the Captain turns on the Autopilot and disappears for it seems like 10-15 minutes.
Update ... as of today. Going in for paint at Doug Harrell Designs in Florida next week Image Unavailable, Please Login

So in my posts starting from the top photo notice the top is painted grey that is a mettallic silver that we chose and the hull sides will be painted that color Then visible in several of the side pictures that indent with the holes in the, will be blacked out and look like a large side window when it is actually a couple of smaller windows . the large hole visible in the first and third picture is the Lazzerette and is actually about 3 to 4 feet deep .. that component on the next to last picture is a cover that goes over the lazzerette . The part that you can see in the center of that component is the access to the lazzerette and the left as we are looking at it is a large refrigerator/freazer and on the other side is where a large electric grill Goes. And lastly the slight raised portion of-that conponent is the back of the cockpit lounge which will be come a large couch kind of thing.. In addition the entire cover to the lazzerette is power operated which is perfect for storing electric bikes and or fenders basically anything you want I guess one more thing I believe from keel to top of the highest point is about 30 ft for s size perspective
funny Mike actually your pictures I find very interesting I am into knowing how things are built basically anything.. For info I am an ocean guy vs lake .. SO the skaters are very cool but not quite for me . However in the past I did own a couple of 42 ft cigarette style boats .. and my last fast boat was a 90 mph 42 foot triple engine power boat ... SO i like all the pictures ... SO anyway I had to ship a star link antenna to Australia today so they could mount it . The antenna was about 1500 and it cost about the same to ship it to Australia..
Just curious how long of a process is this from when you first say "go" / put money down ? There must be a dealer in Fort Lauderdale ? MDS
I grew up & still live in central MN - I've liked boats since 3rd or 4th grade - had a Hydrostream, STV, Allison's, Spectre 30, Talon 22, Skater 28, and now this on order - have posted most of them on this thread over the years I would love to try cruising on the East Coast of Florida - just know nothing about that life or costs - my other problem is I have pretty significant seafood allergies ( like airborn ) so boating down there kind of freaks me out - lol I posted a few months ago about a used 45 Azimut for sale at $400,000 or something like that - well aware that's the tip of the iceberg but sure would be a fun experience MDS
Good question for me if it gets here for the Fort Lauderdale boat show which it is supposed to be their boat show boat. I will have been about 16 months. This is factory direct the Maritimo NA. Is in Fort Lauderdale.. And also the Fort Lauderdale boat show is one of the best boat shows For a small company like Maritimo .. The other US boat they do is in the spring The Palm Beach boat show which is to me the best of the many boat shows each year.
I got to say I love cruising the east coast having been from nantucket to South florida and throughout the Chesapeake bay…it is a lot of fun.. By the way a great boat that I like is a sea ray 55 or 58 sedan bridge. They are the same boat ..I had a friend that sold a very very nice one a while back for 550 k so that proably the bottom but i had a perfect one immaculate that i sold in 2014 for 625.. to give you an idea.,,i suspect you would like it..that cruising the east coast ..
Image Unavailable, Please Login next set of photos taken May 28 this is the salon you will notice the plywood floor of the area closest to the door this is the galley area and the reason for the plywood is below this section of the floor iswhere the engines are and it is set up in case of an engine failure it makes for an easier engine out service.which hopefully is never needed. I should also add the stairway to the flybridge is on the left side of the photo and the guys in the picture straight ahead are working in lower area which has 3 stateroom…
Image Unavailable, Please Login now this photo is of the FYBRIDGE The plywood structure is the back a couch and across from that are the staiirs and the area where the TV will mount it is in a raisable mount push a button the TV go up.. Now forward of the plywood structure is the Helm there will be twoSTIDD BRAND polish and covered high back captains chairs mounted on polished pedestals the. Forward will be the dash with 3 garman navigation screens amoung other items that panel area will be also mounted more to come
Image Unavailable, Please Login One more this is from the salon looking out at the cockpit with the stair to the flybridge showing. Now keep in mind when the boat is finished there will be virtually no fiberglass showing on the interior of the boat. It will either be covered by wood or upholstered .. or cabinets…..etc…
The plan is for the boat to be delivered to us at the Fort Lauderdale boat show around Nov 1…..It looks to be on schedule. Of course before it leaves Australia it has to be painted the hull sides will be metallic silver same as the top is now ..I will post the info if it makes and anyone cares to see it. . After that I hope to keep it at palm Harbor marina for the winter New pictures are due end of JUNE.. …
My buddy brought his Hydrostream up for the weekend - back in the 70's & 80's, they were the machine to own, especially with living in MN & the fact they were made here ... Howard Pipcorn was a legend Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don't ask - I thought it would be done with paint by mid July - found out today it's going in for paint mid July Quite the **** show MDS
