Hi JM, I’m glad to hear your treatment is easing the pain for you. Please let me know when you are well enough for a catch up lunch and a beer. Also good luck with the sale of your magnificent 355 challenge, that car has such a presence both stationary and on the road. This is back in 2020, I came for a run at the start of the GG Best wishes from both Deb and I and the kids. Image Unavailable, Please Login

BTW the 365 was the better car at 150mph+ , the 330 was very much like my 2300s , still a great car but not in the league of the 365
Well, for those of you that don't know I am now in palliative care at home with my darling Neralee who is a nurse of 50+ years looking after me which will be her vision of hell I currently am just tired with little to no pain which is great and a small mercy I have know eye dear how much time I have left but I have no regrets in my life other than when I "may" have done stupid posts althouhg from my side I cant imagine any I got a call from one of my daughters this morning that I haven't heard from since she was 20 and she is now a BEAUTIFUL 42yo Neralee messaged her for over a month and finally she replied which made me cry (and I don't cry) , she is a well educated woman working at GWS university with several degrees My point is that if any other father is in this position you should try to get in touch with them, I am jealous of Greg because he is always in touch with his three gorgeous girls and I hope that remains the same for him I've spoken to many RAAF, computer and Ferrari people in the last two days I've had to put my phone on mute as the voice has been failing My darling has organised for my funeral at Lakeside with Marc Jones of Enzotech, apparently the hearse will take me for two laps of Wakefield and give me the checkered flag at the end of the laps so I get to beat Horse ......... again
OMG Very sad to read words fail me. Take care. Make sure they are also playing a Ferrari revving on the laps at Wakefield.
Well that's sad news JM. It's has been a pleasure to know you. I loved you giving the idiots on here plenty of grief. Well done. And I'm pleased your daughter reached out to you.
John, you and I (and Rob) have had some teriffic times together outside of the combined GG and club type events. Driving home from the '07 FNR,where we met,and me changing into 5th @ 6000rpm by your open 308QV window on the New England Hwy...caught you napping!. After a great run to the border with that crappy dark blue Commodore running interference,we arrived at Wallangarra when the big burly police sergeant waved us into the parking area. Luckily I was in front 'cos I reckon you'd have gone off your trolley. He was happy as a clam to have a quick chat and set us loose.......coulda been different if you were in front!. ^^^^^^ that drive in those cars was EPIC in sooo many ways, you were a champion to drive pretty much all the way back due to my unwellness. Great memories out of the many Moretti....thank you so much.
I'll always cherish the runs we did together the various MMS in Black Jag , the best driver EVER the run down from Brisbane to FQ with Klink and the 1st time we met on the 2003? The Three Peaks rally, where you passed me as I had an ice cream. Great times full of fun. BTW John I hope there is a luggage rack on your coffin as you'll take a biiig life away with you when you're ready...
John, I am so glad I got to catch up with you this afternoon. Even more so to get to spend a few hours chatting one on one.........well me listening lol . I haven't known you as long as the boys and girls on here have but we certainly hit it off when we met on those covid breakfast runs. It's been a pleasure knowing you and hearing your amazing life stories and I hope I can catch up again before your final laps. I know I don't post here much anymore but I do visit from time to time to see what's going down, my biggest concern is who now is going to keep the bastards honest The most passionate Ferrari man I know, Luv ya mate!
Life comes & passes to too quickly John, I've enjoyed the brief times we spent together over the years, may you find peace & then Enzo waiting at the pearly gates to welcome you in mate
