Founders Replacement Headlight Group Buy

As mentioned in the other thread, I managed to get an OK to start a group buy to get us all a discount on the replacement headlights from Founders Parts.

As a disclaimer, I am not a representative of this brand or associated with them. Just a current customer hoping to get a price break through a group buy Founders is not associated with the Ferrari brand and no Ferrari logos or trademarks will appear on these parts. These are aftermarket replacement parts.

For those that did not catch the other thread, Founders Parts was started by the original founder of The Retrofit Source and Morimoto lighting (Lots of us are using the Morimoto tail lights already). So, there's quite a bit of expertise that has gone into these. There are essentially three options that will be part of this group buy:
-360: Ready to paint unassembled headlights
-360: Carbon fiber headlights
-F430: Carbon fiber headlights

All of these are complete light assemblies that are plug and play. There is no rebuilding, core exchange, modifying, etc. They simply replace your entire stock headlight assemblies and foggy lenses.

Ok, now the good part. Depending on how many people we get interested in this, the price can get super good. Here's the quick breakdown...

Instructions: To make this simple to track, copy only the list below, add your name to the list after the last person and repost. Crossing my fingers we can make the numbers. I know there a lot of guys here wanting to fix their foggy lenses or want a Scuderia style upgrade to their F430 (such as myself).

 

Woohoo! We’ve passed the first threshold. There are at least 5 or so FB signups from yesterday but some are waiting for the top discount.

 

The light has to be amber, the actual lens for it doesn't. So, while the lens may be clear, you are required to run an amber bulb.

That is correct. I asked about that. The reason is that the margin is much lower with those even at volume so they can’t discount beyond that without giving them away.

huge bargain at $2k though.

 

But we're on the way to a high score!

I have 6 on FB right now holding fast for the top tier. We have 9 confirmed here (so far). That leaves us with 6 more for max discount.

 

I think the Pozzi blue is dark enough that the carbon won't stand out and will seem like a nice touch. Might be different if it was a sharp contrast like yellow or silver, then the CF would definitely be noticeable and might not be to everyone's taste.
