I was watching some Indy 500 practice this evening. It's getting as bad as F1...now with hybrids on top of their only being two engines to chose from, Chevy or Honda. What is F1 down to, three, Mercedes, Honda, and Ferrari...with Renault out next year. I wonder if any of the Chevy technology will become part of the Cadillac F1 engine. Looking at Indy and realizing how much is taken flat out at speeds F1 only gets to on occassion, it does say that Indy is a big balls event. Is there any documented cost comparisons between the two styles of racing? Good seeing Mario trackside. He looks great for his age.

Those with Dogs, I wonder how much effort goes into traveling with the dog? That must be a full-time job.
The SF24 was on equal footing with the McLaren at the back end of last year but yet again they have found a way to self-sabotage..... just get AF Corse to run this team already. We are tired.
Ferrari fined €5,000 for changing tyre pressures As expected, Ferrari have been fined €5,000 for changing tyre pressures on the same set of tyres on Charles Leclerc's car during first practice in Imola. Once a car has left the garage, tyre pressures are not allowed to be changed which Ferrari did when Leclerc completed his first run, was pushed back to the garage, then went back out on the same tyres but with different tyre pressures. The stewards said: "Technical Directive 003G, point 2 g.ii, specifies that a tyre may be used more than once in a single session. "It also sets out the procedures that must be followed if the team wishes to make adjustments to the tyres such as reducing tyre pressures. "It requires that first, tyre temperatures must be obtained. The team representative admitted that these procedures were not followed, which is a breach of Article 30.5 a) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. "The Stewards note that this was during a Free Practice session. In accordance with similar operational tyre infringements in the past, the Stewards issue a fine of €5,000."
I don't understand why, when they had a great car last year with some terrible tire choices, they would start making major changes when the car only has one more year before the new cars are rolled out. Hamilton was a mistake, letting Sainz go was a mistake.
