How do these compare to the 4S?

PS5 is nowhere near as good a tire for Ferraris as the PS4S or PSS if you can find the correct sizes.

 

They are just everyday tires for everyday cars. They will work fine if you do not push her too hard cornering or braking and they have a very long mileage warranty. That means they will time out before you wear them out.

 

I was curious about the pilot sport 5 tyre also as my car soon will be needing some new rubber....im still running 18 oem sizes 275 40 18 and 215 45 18 on pirelli p zero Direzionale / Asimmetrico.... Surely these pilot sport 5 tyre are better than my current pirelli that is somewhat old designed tyres now?? Open to opinions or even facts

 

4S if you care about cornering grip and sport / track driving. 5 if you drive to point a to point b, mainly to cars and coffee.

 

I just put 4 new tires on my car and switched from PS4S to PS4S. What can I say? I liked them.

 

I actually like the supersports better on track than the PS4S, but that is a discussion for another night.

 

I understand what everyone is saying but can someone relate... Are the pilot 5 tyres better than the old design p zero Direzionale / Asimmetrico... Surely they must be as good if not better with them being newer design tyre??

 

I never had that Pirelli tire but I would not hesitate to replace them with the Michelins 5... they would perform no doubt. But if it was me I would stick to ps4s

 

I would love the ps4s but they are not available in 215 45 18 / 275 40 18 for the oem wheel

 

Then get the 5s easy answer.

 

I think I seen a conversation somewhere that some people put slightly different sizes so that they can use ps4s but can't seem to find it
