Williams is also looking sorted as well. They currently look like the team that has progressed more than last year.

Ferrari is on a downward spiral compared to last year. Sainz is definitely smiling.

True, some tifosi claimed on FChat that Vasseur would "save" Ferrari.

It doesn't look like it. He must feel very uncomfortable, IMO.

The timing line isn't the finish line, and the "end of session" red lights are different from the "RED FLAG" warning light. F1TV did a very good slow-frame analysis of it.

A little beyond the point when they are consistently struggling to reach Q3...

Go to Mercedes, Charles. Your team has the stink all over it.

I didn’t know much about him so I sort of accepted what others were saying about him. Yes, expectations were probably too high but this performance is inexcusable. I expect both cars will finish below their grid positions depending on what mistakes the Genius Wall makes during the race. They may even be lapped by the Maccas. It’s so bad that I’m starting to feel sorry for Hammy.

    Agree.
This is where F1 can learn from Nascar: let them race to the line. Ollie was well-past the crash site and his lap time should have been valid. F1 has 3 sectors, why do they all have to be RED at once? Emergency vehicles travel in the direction of traffic, so that is not an excuse, especially in Ollie's case. With Imola (and several other tracks) having on-course-traffic issues, F1 has to be realistic. All the teams put in a huge effort and expense to prepare for Q. Why does a crash BEHIND the qualifier, have to ruin the racers Q time?
