Hello, the Pop-up lights on my 412 -87 refuses to go down. I have checked the relays (at pro car electrician) and no difference. The only thing is that the headlights have a small current to them and lights upp very little even if the ignition is off. Is there any way to manually turn them down? I gues there is a fault with negative connection but I take any other guess from you.

As a last resort : you've got a fast-in fast-on connector in the fender that allows to disconnect the motor. Once disconnected you can turn the previously mentioned knob, and let the faulty pop-up in the closed position. Not perfect but at least you won't drain your battery.

A word of caution, the motors can and will operate unexpectedly on their own when messing with the knob on top of the motors, I would disconnect the power before messing with them when you could lose a finger!

Very true, that's also why I disconnect the fastin connector.

If you just remove the fuse, this does not prevent the system from triggering the headlights and draining your battery, even with key off. (With fuse off, if you raise the motor manually the headlight will be activated).

Thanks a lot for your answers. My electrical problems have escalated and now the drivers seat shoots fuses and both hood and petrol cap opening is non functional. I have a feeling it´s a ground problem in the fuse/relay board plus a short circuit in the seat. So I haven´t got to the lamps yet.
