Are you worried about it not having suspension lifter because of the AF package? I'm in central Austin and just thinking about my typical drives and my driveway, I think it's doable, but would make me nervous.
We need to connect. I need more Ferrari friends here in town. My neighbors have Astons and Lotus whips. Hard to take them seriously. (Kidding) Also in central/downtown area. Right near Franklin BBQ.
I think the clearance is pretty good honestly. I don't think it should be an issue but yes, I've thought about it being AF.
I use my lifter around town ALL the time. I can’t fathom having one without it. That’s just me though. I have skids and lifter. Still scrape in some places.
Ummm…. Is that a facebook ad? Los Angeles Car with Km on the odometer? Need wire ASAP? I’m not feeling that one!
There have definitely been some sub $400k sales, just not through a Ferrari dealer. Speaking of that, I spoke to a Ferrari dealer about an AF SF90 they had listed for around $450k. Asked if there was any room for negotiation and apparently they have already lost $50k on the vehicle from when they took it in on trade. Might start reaching out to dealers and seeing if they have any clients wanting to trade in their SF90. The cars aren't selling, even in the low $400s. If you can find the right trade partner, could potentially snag one for an amazing price.
I am curious, is any model selling that well right now? Is this an SF90 thing? Or just the market? The SF90 was originally overpriced and/or over produced, but if they are not selling at these prices, it seems that it's more market conditions than the car itself.
Can it not be both? The economy is extremely volatile right now and no one seems to know what is going on with the tariff situation. I'd assume people are less likely to splurge on supercars until things calm down. That being said, the SF90 has been trending down for the last few years regardless. People don't seem to be fans of the hybrid. Additionally, they produced a lot of them and perhaps overpriced them to begin with? There are a lot of factors, but the SF90 has been struggling for a while.
Just becareful, use common sense. Ask if he allow inspection or view the car. Suspicious question marks: Post it as 22, description is 21 AF package and carbon seats (Pictures shown comfort seats, non AF) Seller past history shown location in Thailand Wire only He mentioned he can sell at $20k higher fast, if he can, why leave $20k on the table.
It is a great buyers market. For almost everything, not just cars. It was flipper's market for a few years, a lot of flippers are trapped. Stock market had a massive crash between final week of FEB to early April, index has nearly recovered since, but a lot of people took 20~50% haircut on their holding may had cut loss at the lows and not bought back to ride it back. There is still a lot of uncertainty overhang with tariff. When undertain, people tend to be cautious, until there is a solid round bottom or clarity. There were people who paid huge ADM on Z06, now those are between $100k to $130k. I picked up a chalk 992 Turbo S in low $200k last August which I thought was quite a steal, at the time 296 were way way higher than now. If 296 were going for same price then as now, I would not had even picked up 992 Turbo S. It is way way better car than 992 Turbo S. Anyone on market for 992 Turbo S now would be hard to overlook 296. As car guy, there are just a lot of bargains right now, I am glad the frustrating years finally over. 296, 812, 720S, 765LT, 600LT, F8, GTC4 Lusso, Z06, Artura, Emira, Supra. There are a lot of great cars for the money. Other factors are that people have not experienced or own hybrid super car yet, it takes time, once tried very hard to go back. There is also extreme hype on last of its kind, NA hype, etc. Take 992 Turbo S for example, I mentioned the car is very sluggish off the line before it gets going without launch control, 992.2 turbo s with similar e-turbo like GTS will fix that flaw. People on rennlist went hyper defensive. Once 992.2 Turbo S is out people will be surprised by how respondsive it become. NA/EV like of instant torque+responds, Turbo like of massive torque without turbo lag. Even weight is not as bad as people thinks. My aventador SV weight 4085lbs actual weight, higher than SF90 similar size of car +hybrid, 812 Superfast corned weighted at 4012lbs with electric seats, 992 Turbo S is about same weight as 296.
