Edmonton played a very tough series against LA. They shut the VGK out twice and won in 2 OT's. They will not be easy. Remember they had an awful start to the season. The back half one of the best in the NHL.i Dallas finished the season with the worst.
Lets go Oilers!! Honestly they're rolling...8-1 in their last 9 with the loss coming on an own goal with .4 seconds left. They're doing it without McDavid and Drai being from another planet. Dallas is a good team, Rant will help but the Oilers are on a mission and they're vastly improved over last year. They learned tons for last years SCF game 7 loss. Oilers beat them in 6 last year, no reason to believe they won't win again.

It continues to be awful to watch the Panthers in the playoffs. The league has to see the clear direction given to these players to be as dirty as they’d like on every single shift, knowing full well the referees are not going to call everything. Maurice outright encourages it from the bench then ******* and moans in the pressers about how his players are being abused. Ridiculous projection of what’s actually happening on the ice. Hockey doesn’t need a filthy dirty team going deep in the playoffs just because the refs don’t want to fill the penalty box but something needs to change. These guys are ruining hockey.
Well, NHL and most sports broadcasts (other than NFL) are all substantially down. Big market teams, or those with public high Q scores like Rangers, Bruins, Southern Cal teams would draw metro ratings. Toronto and Montreal maybe. You get small market teams or transplanted sun belt state viewers, that's small potatoes. Vegas and Nashville did a great job of attracting non traditional hockey viewers with their sensational opening theatrics and stars.
