Thought this might be of interest.

Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login I've had a lot of insane barn finds, but this one takes the cake. I finally discovered the long-lost Victoria's Secret Lamborghini Diablo SV "VS," with just 11,000 miles on the odometer, in a barn in the middle of nowhere. I'll try to keep it brief because the full VINwiki story of the find, from my perspective, is dropping this week.

It all started when I posted about buying Nicki Minaj's Bentley in this group, and Ed Bolian invited me down to film a Vinwiki story on it. After filming a few episodes, we went out to lunch and began talking about what I do, and how I find cars. Ed remarked that he would really, really like to find this one specific Lamborghini, but did not have high hopes. It was a 1 of 1 Diablo SV built for the Victorias Secret 1998 Christmas Dreams and Fantasies catalog, in a crazy spec, with inverted "VS" decals on the side. Ed already hired a PI on it, had put out a video asking for information, and the car in general has been the subject of many forum posts, all in the name of finding its location. So I asked Ed to send me whatever he had and let me have a try on it.

Three days later, after some really ingenious methods of searching basically every corner of human knowledge, I had a probable address. Everyone and everything pointed to the idea that this car was in California, that people "knew who currently owned it in LA," "It was sitting in a CA body shop wrecked," all sorts of stories. Without getting too deep into the details, and despite probably sounding insane to Ed, I had to call him back and tell him, "this car is not in Cali anymore. I think it's on this side of the country!"

There was only one thing left to do after all speculation was said and done--contact the probable owners. I say probable because the car was never registered or insured after 2011
No surprise that no one had been able to track it, its vin number and any DMV records were completely useless. Realizing there was a reason that the current owners never registered it, I didn't want to call them, in case they shut down immediately and I lost all chances of bringing it home. So I did what any normal person would do, and drove 22 hours without even knowing if they were home, if I had the right address, or if the car was even in Illinois in the first place.

When I got to the town, let just say it didn't exactly inspire confidence. It was your typical, $30k-houses-and-some-unpaved-roads type Midwestern town. The ONLY things I could find online about the town were robberies, drug crimes and news about arrests. The night I arrived, I started my recon mission by going to different bars and poking for information about a car collection in town, any cool cars, any sports car around here. The following day I was aiming to drop off flowers and a bakery box with a note to the address. But tonight, I had to gather information and feel the town out.

Not one soul took me seriously. The responses I received were "Am I being punked?? A LAMBO in THIS TOWN? LOL!" "Youre gonna have to go a little more towards chicago to find anything like that boy" and "Son, I've lived here for 35 years and there ain't even a damn Audi in this town!" Not one soul knew of the car, of a car collection, or anything at all. It was the most defeated I've ever felt during a search for a car. I went back to the airbnb and wondered what the hell I was even doing and how stupid I felt.

I mean there’s just NO way, that someone bought the most famous and expensive 90s Lamborghini just to never register it, never insure it, never photograph it, never post about it, never bring it to a show, never speak about it, never drive it, and just bring it to the cornfields of bumblefck Illinois just to never touch it again. Right??

Then I got the call. I guess the flowers weren't such a stupid idea to being with. In fact, apparently, driving across the country to knock on a random door was about to pay off big time.

For my full story, you'll have to watch the Vinwiki dropping this week. But I could not be more honored to have been the one to find this car, for one of my automotive idols no less. Despite it seeming literally impossible and a complete fantasy, I had to try.

I think I came to the realization that Victoria's real Secret is that nothing is impossible, no matter how insane and unlikely it seems.

Stay tuned, many more cool episodes coming up about this car, getting it back on the road, and more. Follow my Instagram @timothy_fabrizio for more insane barn finds, and follow along with Ed and Vinwiki for more content to come!

3 videos posted about the "VS" so far. Cool story for sure, the VS decal is a nice detail.

What is the market value on Diablo SE?

I see SV and 6.0 going for 400 to 600k. Surely an SE will be worth more considering how special they are.

Just in the past month a Roadster sold for $550k and today a 6.0 for $900k, if you want a SE lock it down ASAP

The SE30 is my second favorite Diablo after the 6.0. The 6.0 SE #3 as I like color options on regular cars more (though the gold is fabulous, I just adore my blue weave carbon and creams interior more so then the SE titanium carbon and or interior options
