Finally finishing up my garage. Added cabinets and added some pics to the wall. Need to get a few more pictures for the walls and add a display case for some of my smaller items.
My vintage Agip sign that i bought in Milano last autumn got a proper place in the garage. Also a very large metal enameled Alfa Romeo Milano sign found the way to me. The experience is very similar however the euro model is lighter for a variety of reasons so it is quicker. The US car has wider tires, thicker sway bar (off a later 308) so it feels more stable at speed and cornering. Both are exceptional automobiles!
It’s funny when I run into another car needing a charger how I have the red connectors, the orange connectors, the flat magnetic ones, the cigarette lighter ones, the dongles for the battery at each location ready to go. I may not know how to work on my cars, but I’m pretty good at knowing where the battery is and how to both jump it and trickle charge it.
I don't know what took me so dang long to to do such a cheap and quick upgrade but last sunday a buddy was over and we were working in the garage, I had the Nascar race playing on a laptop. A daggum laptop. What an absolute moron I am. So finally fixed that issue last night. Found an open box clearance deal at Walmart for $125, a mount for $20 and about a half hour of labor. I want to ask about each car but that would be impolite. Can you talk about driving the Solus? The Triple F folks shared their Solus for some track time but I do not recall seeing a family member drive it. Then they had a family tragedy, followed by 2 of the 3 scaling back their car thing, and the Solus going up for auction. I would have thought the rarity and nutsoness of that car would bring lots of interest and price but to my surprise it did not sell.
