Does anyone know the correct size Speed Bleeders for a '85 Mondial QV coupe? I assume that they would be the same as for a 308. But that is a guess. Any info or experience would be helpful.

Here is some possible information that may help - but I suggest you have others confirm this is correct for the 85QV coupe as the bleed screw specification is surprisingly hard to track down with certainty, and I don't have my bleeder screws out or handy to confirm. So at the risk of putting out incorrect information, here goes...

The original bleed screw was made by ATE, and should be the same size for front and rear calipers. It is likely an 8mm x 125 thread pitch. If so, the speed bleeder fitment would be SB8125L. The L has the slightly longer neck, would be easier to keep the bleed hose on. The OEM screw is the long neck style. I believe the Ferrari part number is 4230797.

I thought of speed bleeders as well, but decided to go with a Motive pressure bleeder for my later ABS system 3.2 car. Speed bleeders can only be used so many times before the sealing compound will no longer seal.

Here is a visual of the speed bleeder screws available.

I have never got speed bleeders to work well. Others love them. I hate them. I like a proper pressure bleed.
