I started a thread in Silver ‘if you could buy only one car and DD for 5 years’…several Urus selections as was mine.
Luxury, sport, great noise and speed, excellent utility, reliability, and can go under radar with proper spec.

Definitely Ferrari and Porsche. Just deciding the Porsche. Definitely not a 911 variant more of a Cayman variant join the 488GTB

Want a more practical everyday car.

    I love it!

I'm about to embark on the second half of this equation. I already own the "special" car but made the decision to upgrade my occasional track/2nd car (E46 330ci) to a 911. I just started educating myself on Porsches and I've narrowed down my search to a:

997.2 Carrera or Carrera S with PDK, I'm shying away from the 997.1 because I've read the 997.2 is more reliable.

But I agree with the OP, someone told me a long time ago that the 911 is the perfect supercar/daily you could own. I also like how I could drive the same 911 on the track earlier in the day then take the wife to a nice dinner later that night.

I've recently joined Rennlist to look for my car along with Facebook Marketplace.

Any tips for those of you who own Porsches would be great

I daily a 997.1. I've put 55k miles on it. Very reliable. It's a stick and fun to drive. Can put a couple kids in the back seat. My brother in law (who's driven all my cars) says its his favorite one.

Good lord. You could have 10 bad to the bone rides for that amount of $ instead of 2 old man cars.

How did you get the Ford GT for less than $400K, let alone all 3?

Great combo. Similar to mine; 488 spider and 992.1 carrera 4s.

I personally like the 992.1 due to the more modern tech and performance....although it will be a lot more expensive than a 997.

Pretty simple, bought it in early 2020 just as Covid hit and there was a mad panic to sell in those early times. It also had 28k miles, not like the zero mile cars that get $400k. Paid $182k

Don't know if this is directed at me, but there were alot of Scuderias in the mid $170ks I was interested in and I also passed on a $215k high mile 16M (which would have put me just over $400k) ......but wanted the FGT more.

$385-500 for the normal ones. And more for Gulf.
