Truly spectacular color and paint! What events will you enter in Monterey? Have fun!
The mayor You should have your Dino displayed at Ferrari Owners Club, Carmel Concours on Delores and Ocean Blvd. Thursday, August 14th. This is during Car Week and it's 3rd annual show. Good crowd, probably around 10,000 are going through there and it's free to the public. It's not a Ferrari but you can enter the Fiat as a display as the organizer will accept the other Italian mark. I'll be judging the special class, 50th anniversary of the 308. Here's the link. https://focnorcal.org/so/0dPRlhyJT?languageTag=en&cid=147188ae-1023-4c96-aac3-8f223c597eb1
Got a message from Ian's Auto Interiors today. They are starting the seats tomorrow and are going to hit it pretty hard next week. Not sure the ETA yet. Might be 2 weeks. My box of parts to be restored arrived in Italy. Should be delivered tomorrow.
New straps added to the bottom. Front seats going in now. Back seat not replaced yet. Will also be tan leather. . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is a very nice car but I'm a little surprised at the price. 2.0's don't reach this level very often in the States. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dynamat heat protection going on the floor and tunnel. 60 years of crud on the floor but no rust. You can see the original yellow foam for the backseat. Held up really well all these years. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is the 3 position switch to control the fan speed- down by your knee. Oh those crazy Italians. it’s completely disconnected which doesn’t surprise me. The electrics in the center console are a mess we still need to sort out. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Honestly, I left this to the installer thinking he would know best. What I told him is I wanted something to block heat on the floor and the footwell and reduce vibration as a second priority. And I was hoping for some rust prevention to keep moisture away. Image Unavailable, Please Login
