Good news for Ferrari, since Lando Norris *always* looses positions on the first lap.

 

Fortunately lando's starts usually suck. Piastri not so much...gonna be crazy tomorrow.

Great quali...Charles is good but he's not God and he cannot perform miracles, the ferrari is slower than Mclaren, he got one beaten, wich is already awsome. Norris did a great lap too, no doubt about it. Elton was not so bad, 3 ths behind Charles....i thought it would be worst!

 

Exactly, the fact that the McLarens could pull their last laps on a second push run with the same tire, while Lec did his in one shot, tells all you need to know about the pace advantage McLaren had. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if the McLaren had 2-3 tenths over Ferrari.

Tomorrow is gonna be interesting. Not only the two mandatory pits, but I'm not sure how much of a team game Norris & Piastri are willing to play...they fight for the WDC, Leclerc doesn't.

 

Max on Lewis impeding him: "At the time, you see the car blocking you, and when you're there in high speed, it's quite.. not nice, let's say it like that. But then I saw the team told him that I was driving slow, while I was clearly driving fast- So, it's not Lewis' fault. I quickly chatted to Lewis already about it. It can happen, but thats the teams mistake."

Q: Do you expect him to get a penalty? Max: "If you look at the history of things, yes. But, again, its more the teams fault, but unfortunately in qualifying, they normally are quite strict on these things.

 

Start will be interesting. Piastri will have NO interest in creating a gap for Norris to slot in to. If Leclerc gets ahead of Norris, Norris won't have any interest in creating a gap for Leclerc and so on and so on.

I really think the race with both pitstops will be quite interesting.

If I was Merc and Red Bull with Tsunoda I'd pit pretty much immeidately at the very least for the first stop. Perhaps get 2 out of the way and wait for a SC.
