From May 29th to June 1st, "500 Ferrari against cancer":
    https://sportetcollection.org/programme/
    (sorry it's in French)

With more than 1,000 sports cars, including more than 500 Ferrari of all times (from vintage to 499P M), an exhibition of Renault F1, some air shows (with Dassault Rafale of the French air force), and more...

The "Val de Vienne" is a nice track (now used for timed lap times by the French magazine "Sport Auto"); of course this event is not about racing nor pure performance but some fun can be had, driving on the track of just watching the cars.

    Are you coming?

They invited me to judge in the concours, I will be there all weekend. I usually get to ride on track in some very interesting cars.

People don't realise this has been the largest annual gathering of Ferraris worldwide for many years. I am covering it for Ferrari Market Letter. In 2019 I arranged the Breadvan's participation, it was the star of the weekend and won best of show.

This event, very well organised, gathers around 300000 Euros for cancer research every year, a beautiful achievement which should be replicated in other countries.

I will be there on Friday with the 488 (the 550 is currently undergoing some maintenance, at a repair shop installed within the circuit - the manager / mechanic is a former employee of a Ferrari dealership in Switzerland) ; on Saturday I take the "rallye" so I will only reach the track on late afternoon. On Sunday I may come back, that will be negotiated ;)
