Just ran the Thinkdiag on my car and got these two codes as well as the suspension error. Of course the suspension error is expected after running the software and went away after unplugging, but not sure about the others. Of course I can’t find anything in manual either. I am going to take a educated guess Usually those codes are pending and will turn into real codes If I translate them (aka Indiana Jones loll) I find crankshaft sensors issues ...could be the engine not running caused pending codes Understand I just thought of all this No science or experience..just gut Maybe someone can chime in
Could be. I cleared them a few days ago and drove a bit, put car on battery tender… they didn’t resurface on next scan. The car did have crankshaft sensor issues stored in history when I got it. Also I suspect the battery should probably be replaced soon-ish.
Yes, those are pending codes of P0339 and P0389. Those are standard OBD2 codes that all cars support.
You'd be surprised... Ferrari being "Ferrari" didn't always support 'Standard OBD2 codes', in fact I just did a search on P0339 and P0389 on F430's firmware's and it wasn't actually adopted until MY06 and beyond. MY06+ -----[ LH Bank 1 ]----- -----[ RH Bank 2 ]----- min max sig npl min max sig npl P0388 P0387 P0389 P0386 P0338 P0337 P0339 P0336 DFPM_DDG() : BM Engine Revolution Sensing On an earlier car, pre-MY06 car the codes are actually; Pre MY06 -----[ LH Bank 1 ]----- -----[ RH Bank 2 ]----- min max sig npl min max sig npl ..... ..... ..... P0386 ..... ..... ..... P0336 DFPM_DDG() : BM Engine Revolution Sensing So just to be clear here, your fault codes DO in fact vary with Model year and firmware version.
