Wow, crazy build. Would be really cool without the front splitter and rear wing, etc. There is so much that is just bad, and a couple things that are rad. (steel wide body)

Wide body = those subtle fender flares.

Well, there's nothing there that can't be 'unscrewed' and returned to Pep Boys, thank God.

This is one of those very common occurrences in auto customization which proves talent — clearly these guys have serious talent — doesn’t equal taste.

If i was given $100k to customize a 348 in 2001 — when was 25 and devoid of taste — this is probably what I would have commissioned. Just look at what I was driving at the time!

Different wheels and lose the aero and it could be good. Love the color. Probably a fun car to drive with the 430 drivetrain.

Not the shop I’d expect this car to come from.

@johnk... what happened here?? Client with too much imagination and too much money to turn down?

I'm wondering if some of you guys missed that it has a 430 Challenge driver train in it. It's far from just a cosmetic work over.

I think thats what makes it so amazing!! Then they went and did all the other wacky things to a car that would be so bad ass.

The million dollar question …. why though?

Would have been easier to just buy an 430 Challenge or start the project with an F430?

Because adding strakes on a F430 would look just as bad?

It's what he wanted. Something different, unique, that no one else has.

We have a guy around here (different guy) who has a Ferrari F1 car mounted on the wall of his garage. Boys just want to have fun. Thankfully I'm not ion that tax bracket. :)
