Was it born in a color close to Rosso Antico like Rosso Rubino or Rosso Cordoba or in a totally different color and repainted for delivery to Baron De Fierlant in a color close to Rosso Antico ?

This confuses me. Are you telling, or are you asking. With such accuracy to detail, I am puzzled, really.

    Regards, Alberto

Sounds good on the details. Appears to be a couple of NART entries, thank you!

Two week ban for trolling members and rolling right into more crap right after your last ban. Last chance to stop this behavior.

It looks more like Sebring with the large open spaces but I don’t know if those cars were entered there. He’s recognizable but I can’t quite put a name to the face; I’m thinking of an American driver, NASCAR or USAC.

Yes Daytona airport next to the track looks plausible. I doubt very much that is Sebring.

Yes,I’d forgotten about the Daytona airport. Those hangars are too new to be Sebring.

One of just two NASCAR races I attended, Daytona 400 July 4 1992, saw Air force one land there -after buzzing the track!- an hour before the start and Bush senior's motorcade snuck direct onto the oval on the back straight, drove round the east banking to the pits, this was in honour of Richard Petty's last race. Potus was driven in an additional pace car or his limo before the start, then he was in the suite next to ours high across the pits for the first hour. After that he took off to a tea party at an embassy in DC, quite a different crowd;-)
