Kinda reminds one of Edwards AFB in the 50's when we tried to do a whole bunch of stuff, often blew stuff up and pilots, and developed the modern jet age.

This is the second launch for this booster, and they're trying some different things on return, so SpaceX will not be attempting to catch the booster this time.

Well... The booster test exceeded limits and it went boom!

However, the ship made all the way up this time. Two tests in space then reentry to splashdown in the Indian Ocean.

Booster went BOOM on landing attempt, but that wasn't unexpected. Ship trajectory and mission look good thus far.

The tumbling video looks a lot like the Jupiter decent in 2001!

So they weren't trying to catch the booster this time? Just a different flip from separation? But it was a re-flight from a previously caught one?

And Starship made it to orbit, but failed at re-entry?

Seems like they are still a long way away.

    No way.

There is great energy behind all of Elon's stuff... the fake Soros paid protests on Tesla were an IQ test for those that can see through the BS and who can't...

SpaceX goals are wild and things like "catching a super booster with giant steel chopsticks" are made to look like not that big of a deal after a few attempts... it's mind bending.

Not according to the people I know that work there. They love it - hard work but a great vibe.
