That would be cool to see.

Gorgeous, interesting that a car like this is listed with Manheim auctions. Is there a story behind this car?
456 manual Bris same auction house: https://www.manheim.com.au/passenger-vehicles/7193043/2001-ferrari-456-gt-2d-coup%C3%A9?referringPage=SearchResults
That car ca easily cost more in bills than it cost to buy. If it were free you might still be upside down by the time its sorted.
Read today in evo that in the Ul there are new 911s on dealer lots for 15% discounts. Now were not the Uk and each market is different but the bloom is off the rose for new and near new cars, few if any of which were ever going to be "investments" Quality older cars that really have something, there's value there. OPf new cars how many really have something special.
I dont know about newer cars, but on a BBI converted for the USA the inmporters simply silk screened the speedo to MPH without changing the odo gears, so mileage on those cars was KMS while the speedo read MPH. I know UYk cars supposedly had a different gear in the odo. Pretty impressive someone got a456 to even 55k kms, if its a true Us spec car that's prob miles, even more imressive.
It's staggering that car ended up at Manheim. If it has to be disposed of by public auction, why wouldn't you put it through Donington for example? Which I would have thought would be a more appropriate avenue. Hope you put a bid in. Love to see that car remain here
I love UK 308s. No matter what people are told, they'll still easily pay for an Espada engine rebuild if you want to sort the underside and the body. Of course this car may have already been sorted. I'd be curious to see underneath. Does anyone know the car? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, 308 GTB. The suspension as you can see is horrid. Will be nice when I've finished with it in 8 years. The chassis and outer metalwork was surprisingly sound. A legacy of it being waxoiled from new. As for morbid stuff: Image Unavailable, Please Login
