It is with great sadness that I write this…0925…John Moretti, passed to the big track in the sky…he was at peace and comfortable within himself. He passed with myself, Neralee , his son Troy and his long term mate Mike by his side. We will miss him…
So sad to hear Troy. Glad we had our Luncheon for and with JM at the Creek last month. I said my goodbyes to John yesterday. RIP.
A life lived well. I will miss the banter. The "3 Seconds", "11 PSI" and "Where's my luggage?" jokes just won't seem the same. RIP John.
Deepest Condolences Neralee, Troy and family. John was an amazing character, I didn't know him long but he'll leave a lasting impression as someone who would fight for what he believed was right, and wasn't afraid to speak his mind. A great man, a great Ferrari man, RIP JM
Big hugs to you and Neralee... glad I got to see him (and you and Neralee) last weekend - so many great (and outrageous!) memories... Definitely the end of a unique era.
RIP John, our condolences to Troy & Neralee.. I'll always remember the various 5-day Melbourne Mille's we shared the drive of BlackJag and the GTV2000, so many laughs, one of the few guys I'd ever let drive BlackJag ' And THAT drive we did, we Simon from Brisbane to Melbourne, before a Tassie Ferrari run ....BEST drive EVER . Thank you for 25 years of friendship and fun . Love Rob Bailey Image Unavailable, Please Login
Condolences to you, Troy & Neralee & extended family. Anyone who met John will surely never forget him. I know I won't.
100% to all of the above. A fantastic character who made the world a better place. I still am amazed at how nice he was to me - despite never meeting in person - and how willing he was to help out with any 355 issues. I loved the all too infrequent calls we had. He always made me laugh and boy did he have some tales to tell! I’m grateful that I did get to have a short chat with him a couple of weeks ago when he knew the end was near. Still generous and warm beyond belief. A top man and a Ferrari man through and through. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Sincere condolences to Neralee and Troy. I had some of the best times with John at the rally's I attended. He will always be remembered as a funny person but more importantly and honest person who spoke his mind. You definitely knew where you stood with him. RIP John up there in Ferrari heaven. You will be missed by many of your friends.
Aw crap. John and I go way back here. I always enjoyed our conversations. One of my first experiences here as a moderator was not knowing the unofficial rules and I mistakenly gave him a temp ban. I caught holy hell from the other mods, and later from John himself. That was the start of our wonderful relationship here. We had nowhere to go but up, and we surely did. My sincerest condolences to his family and his friends here. John was truly unique and I'll miss him. Dave M.
