No rules will ever pass every drivers review. The joke is the complaining when it negatively affectes a given driver, yet will want stated rule used immediately when it is in his favor lol.
when the new rules came out, plenty of observant fans reacted the same way before a meter was raced yet. This rule set prevents racing. Leclerc was caught out because he's focused on the Apex, no how much of the front axle was in front or behind Albon. If the rule was written sensibly (lets say "overtaking car halfway alongside before braking, racing room MUST be given", Leclerc wouldn't have a leg to stand on pushing Albon off. Leclerc made a decision that was wrong, but IMO there is some reasonable understanding why he thought he was correct, as it was from his POV marginal and had he been correct he'd been fully in his rights pushing Albon off...even though that doesn't even encourage good racing at all. I have sympathy for him but Albon was 100% in his right and was done dirty.
Just as the sport is actually losing viewers. This is years away if ever except for his dictatorness MBS. The teams will want much more payback. Szafnauer has engine and funding for 12th F1 team plan https://www.the-race.com/formula-1/otmar-szafnauer-12th-f1-team-project-details/
Formula 1 and Disney are both iconic brands with a rich history. Today, they announced their future collaboration to bring the two together. Im sure Elon will be right there to fix this for F1........... F1 calls on social media platforms to step up fight against online abuse F1 responds to abuse of Yuki Tsunoda and Jack Doohan in recent weeks by subset of Argentinian fans

Delusions --- Mohammed Ben Sulayem feels strengthened in his position as FIA president and confirms he will run for a second term, responding to Carlos Sainz Sr.'s consideration to run against him, and throws a sensitive question: Is it fair F1 teams and drivers make more money than the motorsport governing body?
--American sports drink Gatorade has become the official partner of Formula 1's sprint races in a wide-ranging new deal with Pepsi Co. F1 announced a five-year official partnership with Pepsi on Monday, which will formally begin in 2026. Elements of the deal will be apparent from this season, with Gatorade's association with the sprint race set to start at the Belgian Grand Prix in July, the next race to be held under the format.
The dictator and his corrupt minions / clubs lol What Ben Sulayem's support from auto clubs means for FIA presidential election Carlos Sainz Sr’s potential run for president of the FIA has been dealt its first major challenge as a total of 37 member organisations declare their support for the incumbent
That was predictable, I would say. The statutes of the FIA would prevent an outsider from challenging an incumbent president. There are plenty of auto clubs worldwide that have a say, many not involced in any way with motorsport, and they can easily be influenced, coerced or bribed. This is not only the FIA; most sporting world federations work along the same lines. Also, all the recent resignations inside the FIA have en fact increased MBS power. I am very pesimistic about Carlos Sainz Sr chances to be elected president: his popularity among (non voting) racing enthusiasts, teams and participants doesn't amount to much against MBS . The same happened to Ari Varanen if you remember.
the drivers of F1/WRC/WEC could all band together and organize a strike. That'll hurt the FIA a lot more.
Only Corrupt people want power. People at the 97%-level, just want to be left along within a functioning society. Benevolent Kings are only acquiesced when the governed cannot see/hear their leaders forked-tongues.
Image Unavailable, Please Login I thought this was a joke. Surely no one could be this tone deaf? But no. MBS really is this tone deaf. If the Dicktator wins the presidency again, whose up for pooling some money together and get an airplane flying over whichever track with the message ''MBS IS A USELESS C***"?
