Yes. Maybe that’s the best option for me to start with the valved mufflers and see if I need more. Do you have a video of your cars sound? And how would you describe the sound.

enough loud and strong to make me happy when I drive the car, but I hate to make too much noise.

There is a very short video in this discussion: post #30, page 2

Still very Nice! Had no idea the 575 boxes were THAT heavy. Always thought the 456 had the biggest boat anchors, for the more 'family sound.' Im sure combined with the full Fabio system, you can approach 100lbs

I have both OEM mufflers. The 456m felt heavier most of the weight is in the pre-cats/headers.

I had Fabio’s full set up > OEM mufflers…. while expensive it was actually very quiet and refined valves closed. That’s why I eventually switched to Fabio’s mufflers

Yes, I always do valved exhausts now. When closed the exhaust is quite quiet. Also note, Fabio went through great effort to eliminate ANY drone. I can attest that his exhaust has no drone at all and is very pleasant. I ran just mufflers with stock straight mid pipes for a while, then put the rest of the full setup in. I have videos of all of the cases if there is interest.

Thanks for posting buddy. Sounds really good. I think this will be enough for me. I am leaning towards getting the valved mufflers before doing anything more. If I need more I can get his H-pipe too.

How much cracks and pops does it give? Personally I don’t like too much of that.

Dumping the mufflers (center and rear) for straight pipes with valves in the closed sounded very similar to stock while driving. Likely louder outside the car.
Swapping from 575 manifolds to 550 manifolds changed that dramatically.

With valves closed you don't get any, with open you get some. With yhe full setup you get a lot more.

I have OEM straight centre pipes and the valved mufflers and none/some is exactly it. I did appreciate the relative quietness of this set up with closed valves on multiple long drives recently. Even then, there was enough going on for other drivers to lower their windows to listen to it.

If you have the mid muffler and you don't remove it, you won't hear any cracks or pops with the straight end pipes or with Fabio's valved mufflers open. Zero. If you remove the mid muffler you will have an open pipe when you open the valves, so you will hear some cracks and pops

Thanks for the inputs gentlemen. I am in contact with Fabio. He recommends H-pipe+valved mufflers. I think I will go for that.

Fabio seems busy at the moment. He hasn’t answered my email for a little over a week. Manufacturing times are up to 1.5 month. In Denmark we store the cars in winter months, usually in the beginning of October. By the time I get it and installed summer will be over.
