First of all, apologize for opening up a milked topic, but most threats were pretty dated so looking for newer input.
3mm left on back pirellis 5mm on front. Switching to Michelin. Visited several shops, and was advised to go with k rating as they are Ferrari homologated. Seem to be few options:
    https://www.michelin.nl/auto/tyres/michelin-pilot-super-sport (k2)
https://www.michelin.nl/auto/tyres/michelin-pilot-sport-4-s (K1) (only see back tires?)
    https://www.michelin.nl/auto/tyres/michelin-pilot-sport-cup-2 (k1)
    https://www.michelin.nl/auto/tyres/michelin-pilot-sport-cup-2-r (K1)

the cup ones are too much as I drover during the winter too.
Anyone any experience with the pss or ps4s? I always had the latter one on my Porsches…

dealers only advice is to buy with k rating…

I've run them both. I believe pss was replaced with ps4s? I have whichever ones are current. tons of grip

I am not sure. I only see that the 4sps only has the back tires with k coding not the front ones. So not sure there’s another option tbh ☺️

The K rating for the MPS4S does not relate to the F12 so it’s as good as pointless.

The only K rated tyres for the F12 are P Zero or MPSS. The MPSS is impossible to get hold of and is old technology.

Many owners have plenty of success with MPS4S (non K rated). We are running Conti SC7 but upsized and they work brilliantly.

    Right.
I can get the mpss so might just try them for now… but indeed older. Maybe a non K s4s would actually do better… I’ll call the specialist here Monday am…

P4S.... better tire than PSS. No need for K rating on the F12 as the P4S wasn't designed around it.

    Hi

What about getting TDF rims and put TDF sizes on your F12.

Perhaps with the TDF sizes you should get K sizes for front and rear.

For what it's worth, I finally switched my Pirelli's after a few years of replacing my rears with the Michelin PS4S and what a massive difference. I should have done this a long time ago. I find the power delivery is smoother and predictable than the PZeros. I have the K series for the Michelin, but I also have the 812SF

can you send a link? I can only find the back tires k rated. Does the front tire look better aligned with the Michelin? Looks a bit too narrow with the pirellis, does not align perfectly with the rim.
