Hi while driving 812 in traffic mode or when it is necessary to stand at idle (at a traffic light) sometimes start/stop error appears, and car limit RPM to 4k then while car drive for a few kilometers failure is down and u can take 9k rpm again oli temp = 85-86 coolant = 87-90 Radiators are clean, antifreeze levels are normal I brought the car to the dealer and no errors were found
It is unbelievable to me, as a 2018 812 SF owner, that Ferrari put a start/stop feature in this car. Everyone I mention it to, starts breaking out laughing. So do I, sadly.
But this is America! In addition, there is no way to permanently turn if off. My 2022 Bentley GT has a control knob that you can go to "custom mode" and turn it off, but you have to do it everytime the car gets a restart
But you bought an EU car. So we all have to live with this ****. You should be happy that you haven't the speed warning signal, the brake assistent, the black box and other crap which have to be installed in all new cars (officially sold in europe) since middle of 2024. Daniel
Accustom yourself a starting routine, everytime you drive the car. Ignition on - waiting for check lights - start - automatic shift off - start/stop off When you have a newer car you have to add. lane assist off - speed control assist off - brake assist off Some more in the future. When you see what idiots are getting a driver license, you have not to wonder yourself, that such crap have to be installed in new cars.
