Hi guys, so I bought my 94 355 a few months ago and drove well. After the third drive I noticed it started to have fuel starvation and the higher revs and by the time I drove home it got worse even on lower revs. A Quick Look on the forum and everyone seemed to have this problem that the rubber gaskets disintegrate. Removed both pumps and that’s exactly what I found. Now my question is, what parts would I need to re kit them ? is it just the rubber parts that need changing or is there something else ? Ofcourse I’m changing the filters and possibly the fuel lines too. Any links to best parts sites ? Attached photos of the pumps once out thanks Mauro Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks like a giant rabbit hole... One of many threads on pump replacement/overhaul https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/fuel-pump-rebuild-fuel-line-replacement-5k-in-parts.662321/ https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/fuel-pump-replacement.616651/ (F348) https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/148702324/ Where are you located?

The little covers for the wires I couldnt find them when I did this on my single pump 355. I have a set of the dual pumps came out of a parts car I bought it was a California car, I'd sell these if you're interested in them. Image Unavailable, Please Login
im from Malta and coincidentally, the rubbers melted as soon as I gave the car fuel for the first time in Malta.
I guess Eurospares UK or Maranello Spares would be good sources of parts, but you may have to get the big rubber boot from Ricambi USA. They have a fuel resistant boot which will last much longer than the original.
Whatever rubber you buy to refurb, be sure to test it so you don't end up in the same predicament. My rebuild, (probably in one of the threads above) is now a combo of 3-d printed and Viton parts. I might even have a better way of doing it now. sjd
