    Hello,

I have the opportunity to purchase a set of Novitec Wheels I did not spec but was taken off at low miles. I was able try on for a day and in person close up I do not like how they look due to the fake center lock. That being said, from 8 feet and farther I think the car definitely looks better (more modern?). I do not plan on lowering my car. I am leaning towards keeping the stock wheels, but thought I would post the pics here to see what others think. If I buy them I may powdercoat it to a satin gunmetal.

I had read that another member purchased similar wheels and then lowered his car and had a bad experience. I notice a negligible difference in ride quality from the base wheels.

Lastly, As the wheel diameter differs from stock, I am wondering if anyone recommends against running wheels like this long term?

I attached a picture of my stock wheels as a comparison

The stock wheels look great , the risk on aftermarket to me are just not justified

Strictly on appearance, the Novices look better IMO.

love the design and look great, totally makes the car more aggressive... I would prefer NOT to have a fake center cap, BUT would and always have the OEM center caps from the OEM wheels used on my builds. Depending on the cost of the discount to get the wheels NOW vs waiting... that would determine if I would buy those wheels. What are they asking for the wheels ??? Where they built for a 296 with the correct offsets ??? call the wheel manufacture (there is a serial number on each wheel) and they can tell you what car the wheels were made for. OFFSETS are everything when replacing the OEM wheels. The OEM offset will most likely NOT be the same, but you want to make sure that wheel were made for the 296 or has the correct offset and no rubbing or spaces needed in order for the fit to look right.
