I’ll never buy another car from there. My car was great (911 turbo in chalk that I really really wish I didn’t sell at times) but Zee is so incredibly off putting. Chris Anderson the sales person was great, but the owner is that off putting that I will never do business there again.

I think the place is bankrolled by Larry Sands the guy who owns Chrome Hearts eyewear division, which explains their financial stability compared to a lot of these other dealerships that rely on consignment.

Don't have any experiences with EuroCar, but boungh mine from this Private Collection Motors & Used Exotic Cars For Sale in Costa Mesa. I've had good experiences with them in Costa Mesa. A little pricey for an independent, but a good bunch of guys. They are close to where I work, so it's really convenient for me.

I was there a few months ago, dropped off my F430 at the Newport Ferrari service so just popped in. The girl at the front didn't seem to care about anything, not very personable. I wanted to check out the Lotus Emira and they are the official dealer, a young salesman was cool and let me take one out to drive it. He seemed pretty green and perhaps you could make a good deal with him on a car as he seemed eager to make deals. But I don't know how it works there and how much say he would have.

I also dealt with another salesman that works there now (or at least as of a few months ago) that was at iLusso before. He is seasoned, and a very nice guy. This was when I was shopping for my F430. He took a lot of time to show me different cars, was patient and frankly I was not as knowledgeable as I am now. I think I may have asked to test drive one but he politely declined. I'd do business with him, he followed up with me a few times and even contacted me when an F430 popped up from his client list before it made it to the dealer. Let me know if you want his info.

What did you think of the Emira, and did they offer a deal less than MSRP?

It looks great and the manual transmission is as smooth as butter. I did feel it was a bit underpowered and that kind of killed it for me. I never got to the point of negotiating but if I remember correctly at that time they were going over MSRP on BaT (I think). Who knows now though.

Tilo is great over there. We've purchased (and sold) many car there thru the years. No matter where you buy, rule of thumb. Get an outside inspection. Best money you'll ever spend.
    But yes, I recommend EuroCar.

Purchased a car from them and Chris Anderson my initial sales person was great. The problem arose for me when it got turned over to the owner. HIs name is "Z" . Downhill from there. Ended up buying the car. Would not repeat.

I walked in without an appointment wearing a black tank top and ragged up stone washed jeans.... I had long blonde hair and to some folks I might have looked like a homeless person. From his initial greeting, Harry treated me like a rockstar and pretty much forced me to test drive a Murcielago. An hour later I was at the bank getting the check printed up to buy the car. Overall great experience and have been Facebook friends with Harry ever since that time. I will go back there if I ever decide to add more to my Ca collection.

Harry is great as are the other salespeople like Chris Anderson. It’s the Owner , Z, that most people have issues with.

I’d imagine these guys get a ton on random walk-ins being so close to Ferrari service.

And the other way, also. Today when I dropped my car at Ferrari Newport Beach for annual service there was a car ahead of me with EuroCar ID.

I actually did the heavy negotiation with Z and had a positive experience. Harry went back and forth a few times and couldn't get me the deal I wanted on the car. Then Z invited me into his office. I told him the deal I wanted and that I would go get the check at the moment. He then said it was too low. I stood up and walked towards the door and he said "wait a minute. I'll give it to you but you have to come back and buy another car from us...." Then he sent me back to Harry's office to write up the deal. All in all, I think it's a solid place to get a great sorted out car. Harry also does a good job following up and staying in touch.... Thus making you feel more like a person and less like a customer... I would encourage the enthusiast to check it out in person as the warehouse and inventory are spectacular!
