Amalfi Event

I have been invited to Amalfi for the event. All I know is that my wife and I will be staying at a hotel in Amalfi courtesy of Ferrari and the launch event is 1 July. I was at the Portofino launch and that was incredible so I cannot see how they will top that.

 

It was and the fact the whole town was lit up in red.

It wonder if the Amalfi event might be smaller. I don't know anyone who has been invited apart for the two of us on this thread.

Of course it could be Ferrari don't get their act together until the last minute.

Hey guys, the wife and I are going to this. We haven’t finalised arrangements yet but are planning to go out a few days in advance and have a little relaxation and fun out there.

 

Looks lovely Puro, I'm just waiting to hear from the dealer what the wider arrangements are re: where we are staying with Ferrari, the location of the event etc. Is this your place? Looks very nice indeed!

I have just got back from the factory and our group was not allowed to see the ground floor production line. I am guessing they have some Amalfi being built. Really looking forward to next week.

 

It explains traffic will be a worse nightmare in an area where it is notoriously bad and that many locals are upset at the disturbance, closed parking lots etc. To do this there is harebrained.

As much as it should be nice from inside it could generate a pr negative storm for Ferrari, like the thoughtless idiotic Bezos wedding in Venice right now.

 

Did you read/Google translate the article? It the logistics and traffic hassles will take much longer than a day in a area that is stuck between sea and cliffs with only tiny roads and some locals are indeed unhappy.

I am all for such events but some tact and common sense should prevail. I will attend events when they come out with models called Toscana and Umbria; lots of room and great roads there;-)

And it's also interesting that this is the first reveal event that the invite included my wife. Maybe they now know who controls the money.

 

Anyone have an idea of the start time of the event?

Shuttle service will take you to the venue - more detailed schedule will be available at the Accreditation Desk at your hotel.


FERRARI WORLD PREMIÈRE SCHEDULE
Tuesday, July 1
Enjoy the World Première dinner at your hotel restaurant with a free flow service from 18:30 till 20:30 CEST.
Following dinner, transfer service will be provided to take you to the World Première Venue, in accordance with the schedule available at the hotel’s Accreditation Desk. Once at the Amalfi Pier, a very short boat transfer (3 mins) will be arranged to reach the venue.

Enjoy the after-dinner party event with special entertainment.
Transfer back to the hotel will be available from 23:30 till 01:00 CEST.

Dress code for the evening: cocktail attire

 

I was told 2 couples per dealer. At least my dealer is only sending 2.
