    I never cared for the mirror on my GTC - too small.
    So, I installed one from a Ford sedan.
    The aluminum cylinder which contains the ball and socket adjuster adapts it to the stock mirror mount.
    Nothing was cut or drilled so the original mirror can be reinstalled - but, I'll leave that for the next owner.

    I live in South Carolina - believe me, we need all the help we can get!!!!!
    My car is an everyday driver I really like to know what's going on around me.
    AND, I don't drive fast - NEVER.

    Nice job! J.Ward over at ICON 4x4 was using Tesla mirrors on all the big money bronco and FJ builds...

    Wonder when we'll see one of the more modern frameless mirrors become a staple

    Gentex has various models of frameless mirrors.
