    Hello,

Does anyone have insight into how some 348/355 GT cars had centerlock hubs and what application they used to achieve this?

    Thank you in advance!

The 348 was build by Michelotto versus the 355 in the middle was a project done by Auvergne Moteurs of Clermont Ferrand. I guess they used Michelotto (F40?) Parts as well. The most reliable source to get those parts might be still Michelotto.

I have several sets of 18” F40 LM wheels for my F40, including one of the ultra hard to get speedline sets. If that’s what they put on the 348c then I have some.

I ran regular 355 challenge wheels on my 348 challenge.

hi, do you have more infos on the car ? It looks like it is running in a GT championship, perhaps in france. But given a few enhancements, I guess more GT3 than GT4.
I have a 355 challenge that ran GT4 in france and was also initially maintained by Auvergne Moteurs.

Car number 2 is my car through the first week in July. I have just gone under contract for the sale to another F Chatter. As the car will soon be his, I will let him decide to comment if he wants on the centerlock conversion. But I will share with you that there are photos in the public domain that show that this conversion was pretty rudimentary, designed only for racing where wheel bearings are checked before and after each race, and likely not suitable for road cars.

There technology has progressed- and if you are dead set in having centerlocks on your road going 355, you might look into alternatives to the technology used in my 28 year old race car.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Hi Sherpa!
Do you still have that set of F40 wheels?
I’m looking for a set of Speedline or OZ wheels for my 348 Challenge, and I’d like to convert it to center-lock wheels.
