Hi guys, I've got a 21 Ferrari F8 Tributo, I've installed a Schmid Motorsport exhaust (gpf delete). I've tried with 6 tuners so far to flash the ECU. But with each new software After a few km it enters limp mode. No more power, limited performance. The car ran perfectly even after switching the exhaust, with an obd tool, for almost 1000 km. Now we can't make it... Do you have any ideas? Any tuner from Europe that works remotely that can make it for sure? p246c Error still popping up Thank you
Its probably because many people who call themselves tuners aren't really doing anything other than buying a off the shelf "file" they bought from some unknown origin and slapping it on your car. Now these might not be fully compatible, for instance they might be for a different model year or from a different market, so may not work as intended on your exact assembly number and ecu part number. Its frankly a minefield. Ferrari often choose to fix things as they go along in small batches of cars and have considerable differences between different firmware versions and markets, so there can be significantly different software versions, a lot more than may other manufacturers. So the first thing you need to determine is whether whoever 'tuned' your car actually used YOUR cars original firmware as the starting point. If they didn't well maybe that's the reason. And more importantly did they back up your original software, because if they didn't you could be in a real world of pain right now to recover back to stock again... Good luck!
I sent my ECU to Vivid Racing/V R Tuned in Arizona for a tune that produced much more power, deleted the stop/start,and eliminated the CELs and other warnings from my modifications to an engine very similar to yours (Portofino). I don't expect you to ship your ECU to Arizona, but the point is that businesses are around that can do what you want.
