Great overhead shot of the 1982 Motor Show. The very first Ferrari I sat in was on that stand. Photographic proof below. Sorry for the blurry picture but that is me at the wheel. A Ferrari obsessed 14 year old, who got onto the stand thanks to the generosity of MC team. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great video. As are some of the other videos on the same page - Phillips navigation system is hilarious as is the self service car maintenance place.....
Anybody knows this? Car has been exported so the plate doesnt work now, but it seems to be 250 UYS. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The owner relocated to Germany with most of his collection including the big five, and some other brand cars including some Bugattis and Pagani Zonda.
Although slightly off-topic, I imagine those in here will be well informed to the subject: Does anyone happen to know more about (and perhaps have pictures of) the Ferrari Dealership in Forfar? From the small amount I can tell, I believe it was run by J. Colin Briggs. Does anyone happen to have the name of the business, etc? Most frequent references come up in relation to 288 GTO #56759.
Autocar - 7 November 1984 Quick google gave me this. The ad for Colin Briggs doesn't look like the ads from the main dealers. Perhaps it was more a private sideline in selling Ferraris. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think he was an official dealer at the time hence the mention of new cars (& thereby bagging himself the 288GTO) https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/146387823/
