Imma' start going no shirt too; save on dry cleaning...plus easier to get undressed.

Ferrari will (over)react by hobbling Leclerc and favoring Sir. Gotta keep the SM warriors happy. “Charles. Sir is faster. Plan 44, please. Plan 44.”

It will be great if hes gone by the summer break. One of the biggest mistakes Ferrari made.

    We should be so lucky!!!

The only way he maybe walks away early is if he gets a broadcasting offer. No way he is giving up the limelight.

Hopefully Sky coronates him as an announcer so we can end this nightmare.

I personally do not want Hamilton to retire mid season. I'm enjoying Charles destroy him as I expected.

I think originally that was the plan. What they probably didn't account for is Lewis' fans turning on them so quickly. They didn't factor in what an entitled, emotional bunch they are. It's only the beginning of June and they are already in full melt down mode calling for the firing of the whole team and openly bashing Ferrari. I highly doubt they are buying merch anymore unless their Messiah some how wins.

Till then it's all Ferrari's "fault" in their eyes.

And the next one, I guess. Hamilton will probably see his contract out.

There is too much at stake in his deal with John Elkan for Hamilton to walk away.

We are talking about a potential $400M donation from Elkor to the charity he launched.

    Good point.

Presumably 2026 will be ''his'' car, still be beaten, it won't be ''his'' car and he'll leave for the charity thing.

Some decades ago, the old man, Enzo himself said no driver was more important than Ferrari itself.

Had he still been in the chair, Lewis would have been taken to the exit door (with or without his extravagant mafia-like coat) five minutes after he disrespected the team publicly.

He’ll see out the contract to whatever extent it benefits him to do so. We don’t know what’s in there so it’s all speculation except that he’ll ultimately do whatever’s in his best interest.

I notice there have been no rumors (that I’m aware of) substantiated or otherwise, that any other teams have made any overtures to him. Some GOAT, huh? Yeah…..

Enzo would have done nothing if the driver was winning. Multiple drivers expressed frustration or criticized Ferrari in the past. Lauda disrespected Ferrari. Sir Lewis Hamilton is the most impactful driver of the last decade. He is the face of F1 still. He's won without Ferrari. He doesn't need to try to be above Ferrari. He's won more than Ferrari during his career. Ferrari is paying HIM to be a part of their legacy before he retires.

Man stop playing with my emotions. If you know somebody who's paying, I'll talk about Sir Lewis Hamilton, his dad, his dog too.
