Hi all, I ordred a replacement door panel on the passenger side of my FF a year ago. Till this day no ETA. Has anyone else had issues, is this common? Any recommendation? I attached the color of the interior - which could cause a delay. I'm hoping this isn't a never or several year wait. Image Unavailable, Please Login
If I had to guess, I would say they are not making them any more and they are not going to make one now. I would bet you are SOL, but maybe someone like Steve (SAFE4NOW) can better answer your question.
What was wrong with the panel? If it's a leather issue it is probably easier (and far less expensive) to just have it re-covered. If the panel is damaged, maybe find a used one from a parts car and re-cover that.
small tear in the leather. I'm not sure if it can be repaired. I considering buying a used part, but not sure if we can get the color to match.
You might be surprised if you find the right person ... just yesterday I had a leather repair guy touch up the bolster on my car, he took a small cup and mixed red, yellow, black and white in small amounts and kept sampling it on a piece of white cardboard until he had it matched perfectly.
Yea, Ferrari has definitely taken my money - door panel for passenger side was ~7k ish (I can't remember since it was a year ago). I check in every so often on ETA - no update.
