I watched OKC-Denver off-and-on today.

What I noticed is: most of these guys that shoot 3's - they shoot,
and then just STAND THERE and watch, almost none of them
followed the ball or tried to get in position for a rebound.

That's why I keep saying 'rebounds' are a useless statistic - they
are largely uncontested, and the ball bounces off the rim 20 feet
out to whoever is standing around in the area...

 

Indiana is too good for Knicks. They play a gsw type passing game while Knicks all isolation. NYC sports curse will continue

 

I think you’re right, unfortunately. But Indiana just needs to avoid going up by 20 points if they want to close this series out.

I don't think the NBA wants an Indianapolis/OKC finals....

 

Funny how the NBA is unwatchable - during the regular season,
and usually in the first round of the playoffs... THEN they start playing... usually.

 

And I've said it time and again: Real basketball died when all the clowns started making 10-15-20 million+ a year.
And I mean the #5, #6, #7 guys on each team.

We used to watch PLAYERS play the game, NOW all we see is Corporations 'play' the game.

I LAUGH at guys - in ANY sport - that say they play the sport 'because they love the game'.

There are 163 - yes - 163 players making 10 million a year or more,
248 players making 5 million a year or more...

Don't get me started on the idiots in the NFL holding out for new contracts and skipping OTA's.

 

I'm picking INDY - because 'everyone' thinks OKC will win it all - some say a 4-0 sweep.

 

I have to root for the Thunder only because they once were my favorite team - the Seattle Supersonics!

Oh, I doubt that.
It's just one game, I think someone will win 4-2 - barring any injuries.

And I stand by my Indy pick.

 

I tried to bet Indy last night (Wed. night), but we can't do that in Nebraska on Draft Kings.
I was just going to throw $100 at it.

I may lose, but I knew it would not be a sweep, and it won't be.

Indy shot 47%, OK shot 39% - that won't last.
Indy had 56 RB's, OK had 39 - that too won't last.
