Well, I sold my 575. I had it 11 1/2 years and enjoyed working on it and driving it, just not as much driving as I would have wanted. I am 76 and getting under the car doing any service on it was getting a bit much for my back. Putting that engine tray back on is a chore, especially when one of the valence clips comes off when you are nearly done.

    I may revert back to a 2011 cayman s.

Enjoyed the exchanges with all of you.

    keep on driving

Congrats to you and the purchaser! Bad news for me. I am new to Ferrari Chat and my search for a V12 Front engine Ferrari but I was eyeing yours for the last few days. Looks like a nice well kept example.

I understand as I am 84 and the simple things take a bit longer now. My 2002 is pristine and I have cared for her for 15 years as the 2nd owner. Wonderful to drive plus it keeps you young.

Good luck and enjoy the Cayman.

Maybe we need an Octogenarian 575M owner's group. 81 here; 20 year ownership of an '02 manual, FHP Maranello.

    Taz,

I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed reading your posts over the years. Your wit and wisdom (emphasizing wisdom) has been an inspiration to a lot of folks: you brought more than your fair share to the table.

I drive by Love Field frequently where there is an F-111 on display at the Museum of Flight and it always reminds me of your tag line. Fair winds and following seas my friend and thanks for your service. Semper Fidelis from an old grunt.

    Best.

Glad it found a new home. I was tempted, but you're on the wrong coast!

Steve was looking over your for sale post. Much respect for being a true gentleman custodian and taking care of all the issues with the car.

I also learned a bit...never realized there was a filter for the F1 system.
